Announcements:

• We will be doing a unit study on Gingerbread men this week.
• Our class will be performing at the PTO meeting on Tuesday, November 29th. We need to be at the Primary Cafeteria at 6:20.
• Our Christmas party will be on Tuesday, December 20th. It will begin at 2:00. We hope to see you there :)
• Please return book orders by Wednesday, November 30th. I will be placing the order on this day.

Reading/Sight Words:
Please make sure to check folders each night for reading homework. Also, try to help your child use their strategies when they come to a word they don't know. Here are a few strategies we use:
1. Look at the picture.
2. Think about what would make sense.
3. Check the beginning sound.
4. Look for parts of the word you know.
5. Skip the word, then go back.

Math:
Monday- Problem Solving Day
