Reading/sight words:
Beginning this week I will be sending home a reading passage with your child's homework packet. Please do not tell your child the words in the passages. I am trying to encourage them to use their reading strategies to figure out unknown words. The passages are similar to what they will see on the test in April, so I am trying to prepare them. Just return them with the math homework on Friday.
