Announcements:

• Our P.E. day is Wednesday, so make sure your child wears tennis shoes on that day!
• Please turn in your t-shirt money as soon as possible, if you have not done so.
• Please make sure to initial your child's folder each night and return the folder the next day.
• This week we our continuing our unit on Alphabet books and the children that read them.

Math:

Monday- Lesson 1.4- Using adding to and putting together to make a model.

Tuesday- Lesson 1.4 (cont.)- Use addition within 20

Wednesday- Lesson 1.5- Use the additive identity property (ex. 5+0=5, 6+0=6)

Thursday- Lesson 1.6- Explore the commutative property (ex. 5+2=7, 2+5=7)

Friday- Lesson 1.6 (cont.)

**Please return math homework on Friday :)

Spelling:

We will be having a practice spelling test on Friday over short vowel words. (cat, rug, hop) We will begin our regular spelling lists next week.
